Acupuncture e-tag system
01 / CLINICAL
Designed for TCM clinics and hospital TCM departments: acupuncture needles integrated with e-tags on the granted patents of partner RFID Integrated Marketing — from insertion records to removal verification, fuller treatment information and clearer frontline workflow.
Needle × Tag
Integration, built into the handle
The e-tag is integrated into the needle handle while the needle keeps its slim profile. The design goal: no change to the current insertion workflow, so every needle leaves a record at the moment of insertion.

Indoor/Outdoor Positioning · Care Tracking
Indoor/outdoor positioning care-tracking system
02 / TRACKING
Designed for nursing homes and long-term care facilities: outdoor satellite positioning and indoor wireless positioning hand over seamlessly, residents' locations known at all times, with instant alerts for wandering and high-risk zones.
Centimeter-level outdoor positioning
Outdoor position tracked by satellite in real time, accurate to a few centimeters.
Indoor position tracking
On-campus positioning by wireless anchors with accuracy of tens of centimeters — no interruption indoors.
Geofence alerts
Instant notification on leaving a safe zone — wandering prevented before it happens.
High-risk zone alerts
Instant alerts on entering a danger zone, so on-duty staff can react immediately.

Integration
Positioning data × clinical records, value in both directions
Two systems, one core: tags record treatment courses, tracking safeguards movement, and both share the same data foundation.
Acupuncture treatment records
Records from insertion to removal give needle-count verification and operational traceability a basis.
Resident movement history
Routes and dwell times fully recorded; anomalies surface immediately.
Equipment asset tracking
Needles and devices locatable in real time — no more room-by-room searches during inventory.
FHIR + HIS integration service
Coming soon
Planned to connect facility HIS, linking treatment and care data; scope and availability will be announced separately.
Use Cases
Four care settings, four points of leverage
One positioning and clinical foundation, solving different problems in different settings.
TCM clinics
Electronic tags assist insertion records and removal verification, reducing repeated copy-work.
Hospital TCM departments
Consolidate treatment records across rooms and physicians for better-grounded verification.
Nursing homes
Wandering alerts and high-risk zone warnings ease the strain of screen-watching on duty.
Day care and nursing facilities
Daytime care and night rounds, with location records online around the clock.
Implementation
Four steps to a stable go-live
From assessment to switchover, every step has a clear deliverable — without interrupting existing operations.
01 / Assessment
Needs assessment
Survey the site, target accuracy and existing systems to define the adoption scope and schedule.
Deliverables: adoption scope, schedule and cost estimate
02 / Deployment
Site deployment
Position the wireless anchors and tags, calibrate signals, and build the site positioning map.
Deliverables: site positioning map and placement records
03 / Configuration
Workflow configuration
Configure treatment recording, positioning zones and alert rules to fit the facility's existing workflows.
Deliverables: workflow configuration records and operating documents
04 / Go-live
Training and go-live
Train key staff, run in parallel, and switch over formally after acceptance.
Deliverables: training records and acceptance documents
Pricing
How fees work
A three-part structure with no hidden items. Actual amounts depend on site size, accuracy requirements and integration scope; a formal quotation follows the adoption assessment.
Consumables · Per use
Tag consumables
Acupuncture e-tags are single-use consumables billed by actual usage — you pay for what you use.
One-time
Deployment fee
A one-time fee for anchor placement, signal calibration and system rollout, assessed by site size and accuracy requirements.
Annual
Maintenance fee
System updates, equipment maintenance and support under an annual contract, with scope confirmed item by item at assessment.
The tag and the acupuncture needle are combined into one unit; the patented technology was filed and is held by our partner RFID Integrated Marketing Co.,Ltd. (Taiwan invention patent TWI840156B, European patent EP4427720B1), and Needle is its application. No change to the current insertion workflow is required; a live demonstration is given during the adoption assessment.
When will the FHIR + HIS integration service open?
Coming soon. The FHIR + HIS integration service is not yet available. It is planned to use FHIR as the data-exchange basis, linking facility HIS with treatment and care data. Scope, supported systems and timing will be announced separately — you are welcome to leave your requirements in advance.
How is the missing-needle problem solved?
The system tracks the state of every needle in real time; at removal, counts are verified automatically with reminders, turning manual counting into system-confirmed verification.
How are positioning anchors installed? Is cabling required?
Site survey, placement and calibration are handled by the Needle team and fall within the one-time deployment fee. Placement density is assessed by accuracy requirements and site structure; installation methods and layout drawings are explained during the adoption assessment.
How is integration with access control and notification systems assessed?
Access control and on-duty notification workflows require a review of available interfaces, alert rules and responsibilities before scope is confirmed. The FHIR + HIS integration service is currently Coming soon and not yet available.
How is residents' location privacy protected?
Location data is used for care purposes only: tracking zones, alert rules and retention periods are set by the facility; viewing permissions are tiered by role and limited to care-related staff. The data-hosting environment and personal-data handling are documented in writing during the adoption assessment.
